Equipped with exclusive and brand new SMD LEDs capable of providing a CRI of 95 for the cine/photo/video sector, our VARILED 1000 has a 120° light beam for superior lighting coverage and is obviously high frequency (flicker-free). Mains powered via cable (included) or battery powered via 4-pin cable with XLR connector (optional). The VARILED has a voltage of 100-240V, 7-16V DC so you can use any battery, from V-lock 14.8V to G lock to NP- F 7.2V and any type of 12V source. It is light and easily transportable (it weighs less than half of common LED panels), built in Italian aluminum for a long life. An exclusive feature of the VARILED is our patent: the dimmer with POWER BOOST. The dimmer with POWER BOOST has a switch for an extra 20% light intensity. When POWER BOOST is inserted, a higher level of illumination is obtained, when it is not inserted, less power is obtained, thus extending the working time of the batteries (which is essential especially for small batteries). Perfectly silent, it does not require a cooling fan. For an astonishing luminous efficiency, LED boards with advanced electronic circuits with extra holes for perfect cooling have been used. In order to avoid annoying power drops, our advanced electronic circuits ensure that, if the battery charge is running out, the light intensity remains the same until the complete end of the battery life. In terms of safety, the dimmer has an electronic circuit that protects the VARILED from any other source with opposite polarity. In case of using sources with opposite polarity, the VARILED simply does not turn on, thus avoiding any damage to the LEDs. For perfect ease of use, ¼” threads have been inserted on the dimmer boxes and power adapters so that they can be easily mounted on stands, clamps or arms.
