Description

The honeycomb grid narrows the light beam, slightly reducing exposure. It is used to concentrate light on the center while darkening the edges of the illuminated area particularly with backlights and to highlight specific parts of the scene. Additionally, it can gently accentuate the subject, a texture, or a color, helping to create the desired atmosphere or mood. It attaches via Velcro to the inner edge of the softbox.
